that flummoxed

Wouldn’t such stellar demystification devalue
Life itself? And
if we are alone... if Jung is right
that we are
here to give the world its “objective
existence”—as our sun
darkens; last eye closes;
last word’s uttered; last kiss kissed; nobody left
to see,
hear, feel anything—will nothing finally
EXIST…
